Multimedia production (along with web design) was my starting point in grad school. As I wrapped up my undergrad, all I wanted to do was to explore my creative side. Armed with a few articles and poems (which you will not find in this website, partly because I am too embarrassed by it now) and a strong desire to unleash my creative side, I entered the DMAT program at MSU.

This production was derived from the group's interest in Wine and how it not only relates to many aspects of life but acts as a metaphor for them as well. We sought out stories from people for whom wine was not only a drink, but an important part of their lives. We discovered five such fascinating people whose lifestyles were impacted by wine in different ways - Culture, Love, Wisdom, Memory and Work.
The project wiki has detailed information about the project development.

I created this Flash movie for a mini-project in a class. I chose to express play visually for this open assignment. I was working on the logo for this website when the project came up and I realized that I could adapt the logo for the same. It is a one minute artistic exploration of what could be a peer-reviewed journal about play in a.....well, playful manner. You can read the rationale behind the project here.
(Spring 2004, Group project, Completed)
This project is an instructional tool for boys (in the age group 9-11) to learn basic hand magic tricks. The user can first watch the trick being performed and then go to a step-by-step process of how to perform the trick
Each trick is simple enough for children to perform and makes use of standard playing cards, coins or other props found in most households. The project was delivered in both web and DVD formats.
Role: Graphic Designer, Flash Designer, Flash Developer.
(Fall 2003, Group project, Completed)

The user plays the role of a detective who is presented with evidence acquired from police investigations into a suspicious suicide. The target audience for this product are males in the age group 15-30. The final product was delivered on the web.
